The elimination of the concept of qualified special-purpose entities (QSPEs) from Standard No. 140 as well as the scope exception from FIN 46 (R) or Variable Interest Entities is likely at hand. This will consolidate an entity’s interest in a securitization trust to its financial statements. Banks, finance companies and other entities should have a thorough understanding of these revisions.

The Knowledge Congress is assembling a panel of distinguished professionals and key regulators to help the public understand the impact of these changes to affected companies. The speakers will present their expert opinions in a two-hour LIVE webcast.
