Over the last number of years, the SEC has issued guidance that has significantly impacted the way smaller financial institutions report and disclose financial information. Recent guidance highlighted three areas: (1) Asset quality/loan accounting issues, (2) Deferred taxes, and (3) Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)-Assisted Transactions. Affected institutions really need to thoroughly understand the guidance in order to improve certain disclosures filed with the SEC.

The Knowledge Group is assembling a panel of distinguished professionals and key regulators to help understand SEC’s guidance on Disclosures for Smaller Financial Institutions and its impact on your firm and the broader market.
