Form 990 for Hospital Reporting

LIVE Webcast

Summary:

The new IRS Form 990 for tax-exempt organizations asks for more information than the government previously collected, and it raises a number of questions specifically as it applies to s. The form includes a new Schedule H, on which nonprofit s report on activities that benefit their communities. The form and its schedules ask for specific information about governance, organizational leaders/directors and their compensation, related organizations, and the institutions’ conflict-of-interest and other governance policies. s’ finance directors and compliance officers will need to work closely with the organization’s governing board and corporate counsel to understand the organization’s compliance policies and ensure that information is disclosed properly on the form.
