Chuck is a partner in the Accounting Principles Group of Grant Thornton’s National Professional Standards Group. His responsibilities include advising offices throughout the firm on current accounting and financial reporting matters. From 2002 – 2003, he served as the Regional Director of Professional Standards for Grant Thornton’s Central Cluster. Prior to that time, Chuck was an assurance partner in the Houston office and served as the office’s Professional Standards Partner.
Experience
Chuck has over 25 years of public accounting experience. His Securities and Exchange Commission experience has included involvement with numerous initial public offerings and secondary offerings, including involvement of the resolution of accounting issues with the SEC. He has served on Working Groups for Emerging Issues Task Force issues and has participated in roundtables and resource groups for the Financial Accounting Standards Board and SEC, including serving as a member of the FASB’s FAS 123(R) Resource Group.
Chuck’s primary area of focus has included a large number of public companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, energy and financial services.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Chuck is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and their Accounting Standards Executive Committee and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Stephanie L Dambaugh

Stephanie Dambaugh is an Senior Manager in the National Professional Service Group (National) of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and has 10 years of experience, originating her career in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. She has served numerous clients in the Pittsburgh market as an Assurance Audit Senior Manager primarily in manufacturing, technology and higher education industries. In her current role at National, she is a consultant serving numerous audit and non-audit clients on technical matters. She is also the Emerging Issues Task Force Coordinator (EITF), which includes following the EITF Issues, assisting in preparation for and observing EITF Meetings, and leading EITF debrief sessions. Stephanie is actively involved in leadership, recruiting, diversity women circles, coaching and people efforts at PwC, including leading several training courses. Stephanie has been active in community events, including efforts to benefit the MS Society over the last several years. Stephanie is a CPA in Pennsylvania and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science in accounting. Stephanie is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pittsburgh Technology Council.
Michael Stevenson

Michael Stevenson is a partner in the National Accounting & Assurance practice and a regional technical director based in the Dallas office. His previous experience includes serving Fortune 100 clients in the telecommunications, software, technology, and retail industries as well as serving an overseas rotation in the technical accounting of a previous Big Four accounting firm. His current roles include working with engagement teams resolving complex accounting issues with public and private clients as well as instructing courses both internally and for outside groups. Michael also serves on the Firm’s IFRS task force.
David M. Lynn
Partner, Co-Chair-Global Public Companies Practice

David M. Lynn is a partner in the Washington D.C. Office of Morrison & Foerster, and is Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Public Companies practice. He is the former Chief Counsel of the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Lynn’s practice is focused on advising a wide range of clients on SEC matters, securities transactions and corporate governance. In addition to being a leading authority on SEC issues, Mr. Lynn is particularly well known in the area of executive compensation disclosure, having recently co-authored The Executive Compensation Disclosure Treatise and Reporting Guide. In 2006, while serving as Chief Counsel, Mr. Lynn led the rulemaking team that drafted sweeping revisions to the SEC’s executive compensation and related party disclosure rules.
Mr. Lynn was the Chief Counsel of the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance from 2003-2007. He re-joined the SEC as Chief Counsel shortly after adoption of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. As a result, he was intimately involved in implementing and interpreting the record amount of SEC rulemaking that occurred in the wake of SOX. Mr. Lynn initially served on the SEC staff from 1995-2000 as an Attorney-Advisor and subsequently a Special Counsel in the Division of Corporation Finance. While in private practice from 2000-2003, he advised clients on SEC investigations, securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Mr. Lynn has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center, where he taught a course in corporate governance.
Since 2007, Mr. Lynn has served as the co-editor of TheCorporateCounsel.net, where he co-authors one of the most widely-read blogs on securities, governance and corporate law matters. Mr. Lynn also contributes to publications such as The Corporate Counsel, The Corporate Executive and the recently-launched newsletter Borges & Lynn’s Proxy Disclosure Updates.
Mr. Lynn currently serves as Vice-Chair – Programs of the ABA Business Law Section’s Federal Regulation of Securities Committee.
Mr. Lynn received his J.D., with honors, from The University of Maryland School of Law. Mr. Lynn also received a Master of Science in Finance from Loyola College.
