Rosemarie is an Executive Director in Ernst & Young's Personal Financial Services and Exempt Organization practice. She is based in the Buffalo, NY office location. She is the National Compliance Operations Leader for the Trust, Estate & Gift product lines with 22 years of overall experience in tax compliance and planning issues focused primarily on trusts, tax exempt organizations and high wealth family individual tax clients. Rosemarie has been consulted for expert witness testimony on matters related to fiduciary accounting income and distributable net income. Her major clients including bank trust tax departments and liquidating trusts as well as family groups with a multitude of types of fiduciary relationships including grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), electing small business trusts (ESBTs) and charitable split interest trusts are located in a variety of geographic locations including New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and West Virginia. She is a regular instructor at both firm sponsored and external organization education sessions covering a multitude of tax technical and non-technical topics.
Rosemarie is a CPA and a board member of the Western New York chapter of the New York State Society of CPA’s as well as member of the AICPA. She serves as Treasurer for National Federation of Just Communities of Western New York, Inc.

Robert E. Friedman concentrates his practice in estate and tax planning, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxation and the administration of complex estates and trusts.
Mr. Friedman is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the American Bar Association, where he participates in the Section on Real Property, Probate and Trusts Law. He is admitted to practice in New York State and before the United States District Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Friedman is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law where he teaches income taxation of estates and trusts.
Mr. Friedman is a member of the Boards of Trustees of the Adirondack Nature Conservancy/Adirondack Land Trust, the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks and the Adirondack Landowner Association.
Mr. Friedman is the author of "Effective Estate Planning and Administration in New York" and the co-author of "Planning Opportunities With Living Trusts in New York." Mr. Friedman has lectured on estate planning for the Cambridge Institute, the National Business Institute, the New York State Bar Association and before numerous other professional associations
Mr. Friedman earned his undergraduate degree (A.B., 1965) from Harvard University and his law degree cum laude (J.D., 1975) from Fordham Law School, where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review (1973-1975).

Sharon Klein heads the Estate Administration Department at Fiduciary. She is responsible for overseeing the administration of complex estates and trusts, including tax planning, reporting and valuation issues. She also acts as Trust Counsel, providing advice regarding issues confronting executors and trustees and advice concerning all aspects of estate planning, both domestically and internationally. Ms. Klein has 17 years’ experience in the area of trusts and estates and is a frequent speaker and author on estate and trust planning, administration and management issues. Ms. Klein has spoken for many professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the BNA Tax Management Advisory Board, the Practising Law Institute, the American Heart Association, the FOX Family Office Exchange, the Hadassah Business & Professional Council, Estate Planning Councils and the New York University Summer Tax Institute. She is also a frequent seminar presenter at continuing legal education seminars throughout the country. Ms. Klein’s articles and quotes have appeared in prominent publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswire, Trusts & Estates magazine, BNA Estate, Gifts and Trusts Journal, Crain’s Investment News, Wealth Manager, Worth magazine, Charitable Gift Planning News and Timothy Sammon’s Art & Tax News. Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust in January 2002, Ms. Klein was Special Counsel in the Trusts and Estates Department at Rosenman & Colin LLP, New York, New York (now Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP) for over 11 years. Previously, she served as law clerk to the Hon. Chief Judge Fox of the Federal Court of Australia.
Ms. Klein earned B.A. and LL.B. degrees from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and an LL.M. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
