Rob is the Cost Segregation Services Group Chair for Moss Adams LLP. He provides federal and state taxation services to a variety of individual and business clients, with particular emphasis on clients with real estate holdings. Rob maintains an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the tax laws relating to fixed assets, depreciation, and real and personal property transactions. Jennifer Birkemeier, CPA

Ms. Birkemeier is the Senior Manager of Cost Segregation Services for Cost Segregation Partners. With 10 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Birkemeier has specialized in real estate and partnership taxation. Her expertise in cost segregation studies encompasses industries such as retail, fast food and restaurants, health care, manufacturing, shopping centers/strip plazas, and apartment complexes.
Ms. Birkemeier has a broad background in tax reporting including individual, flow-thru, fiduciary and corporate taxation. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Canisius College. Ms. Birkemeier has completed the Graduate Tax Certificate Program at the University of New York at Buffalo.
Ms. Birkemeier is a member of The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves as Secretary of The Buffalo Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants. In addition, she serves as Treasurer of the New York State Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Matthew J. Grigsby, CPA, MST

Matthew is a Senior Manager in the Tax Department of Rehmann Robson, a member of Rehmann. He is located in the Cheboygan office.
Matthew is responsible for the firm’s cost recovery consulting services. He focuses on technical issues regarding property capitalization and depreciation, particularly as they relate to cost segregation studies.
Matthew is also responsible for managing the Cheboygan office’s tax practice. He reviews individual and for-profit entity tax returns, focusing principally on those for partnerships and limited liability companies. He is also involved in many of the Cheboygan office’s tax consulting engagements.
Matthew graduated with high distinction from The University of Michigan – Dearborn in 1995, with a Bachelors of Business Administration in accounting. In 2004, Matthew received a Masters of Science degree in taxation, summa cum laude, at Walsh College. Upon graduation from Walsh College, Matthew received the Research Institute of America Graduate Tax Award for outstanding academic work and contribution to the college.

Bob is a Tax Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Greater Chicagoland market. In addition to his other tax roles, Bob is the National Lead Tax Partner for the firms' Fixed Assets Solutions Team. This team is comprised of approximately 120 professionals across the United States who perform cost segregation studies, fixed asset projects and repairs and maintenance reviews.
Bob graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He joined Pricewaterhouse in February, 1990 and made partner in July, 1998.
