Richard L. Menson

Mr. Menson, a partner in the Atlanta office of McGuireWoods LLP, handles executive compensation and employee benefits related matters for publicly and privately held corporations, trusts, banks, insurance companies and various other entities.

He is the former chair of the Joint Committee on Employee Benefits of the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Profit Sharing / 401k Council of America and a Member of its Legal and Legislative Committee.

He received a Juris Doctor from Northwestern Law School, a Master of Law in Taxation from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Ripon College.

Erin Turley

Erin Turley is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice and co-chair of the ESOP Task Force. Ms. Turley focuses her practice in the area of ERISA with respect to employee benefits including qualified plans, non-qualified plans, welfare benefit plans, and executive and deferred compensation. She focuses on advising employers in the design, implementation, and administration of tax qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor in audit and correction matters. Ms. Turley has advised employers with respect to issues raised in connection with corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as they relate to the various benefit plans maintained by the affected corporate entity or entities.

Ms. Turley also has an extensive background in employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) and has been involved in numerous ESOP transactions including leveraged buy-outs, mergers, acquisitions, and the structuring and financing of ESOPs using private equity. She is a member of the Valuation Committee for the National ESOP Association.

Ms. Turley is admitted to practice in Texas and before the Supreme Court of Texas.

He was recently recognized as a leader in his field by Chambers USA.

Mike Boro

Michael Boro is a Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Human Resource Services Practice in the New York office. He has 17 years of experience in evaluating and improving HR strategies, infrastructures, and process/controls to maximize efficiencies, reduce costs, and mitigate legal risks.

Mike has specialized in operational compliance reviews for the benefit plans. He has worked on over 75 compliance reviews, including reviews for several Fortune 50 companies. Mike has teamed with the internal audit function of several clients for review of their HR operations. Mike has also assisted clients with regard to their ERISA fiduciary duty, including filing under the Voluntary Fiduciary Compliance Program. He has advised clients regarding the design and operation of their qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, stock-option plans, as well HR integration issues arising related to corporate acquisitions. He is the Human Resource Services coordinator for HR-related Sarbanes Oxley Controls reviews.

Mike has an undergraduate degree from Fordham University. He received his JD from UC Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, where he was an editor of the law review. Mike also has an LL.M in tax law from New York University.
