Dima Andriyenko
Associate Chief Auditor
Public Company Accounting Oversight Board

Dima Andriyenko is an Associate Chief Auditor in the Office of the Chief Auditor (OCA) for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Mr. Andriyenko transferred to OCA from the PCAOB’s Division of Registration and Inspections where he was responsible for the performance and supervision of inspections at both large and small public accounting firms. Mr. Andriyenko has been with the PCAOB in Washington, DC since February 2004.

Prior to joining the PCAOB staff, Mr. Andriyenko worked in the assurance practices of KPMG and Arthur Andersen, in the United States, Belgium, and Ukraine, most recently as a senior audit manager. In addition to audit engagements, Mr. Andriyenko participated in financial statement compilations, pre-acquisition due diligence projects, and in the development of firm’s audit methodology.

Mr. Andriyenko is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned an MBA Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and a Master’s Degree in Business from the International Management Institute in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Dean Beddow

Grant Thornton LLP

Dean Beddow is a senior manager of Grant Thornton’s Practice Quality Review Team. The team is responsible for internal inspection and quality monitoring of the firm’s accounting and audit practice. Dean’s current responsibilities have focused on risk management, including being the Firm’s liaison for the external peer review and DOL Inspections. Dean has 21 years of public accounting experience including 10 years serving clients, primarily in the construction and distribution industries. Previous to Grant Thornton LLP, Dean was a senior technical manager at the AICPA. At the AICPA, his primary responsibility was managing all aspects of the AICPA Peer Review Program (Program) which included drafting peer review standards, serving as staff liaison to the AICPA Peer Review Board and overseeing the Program’s operations.

Dean is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and NJ Society of CPAs. Dean is also a member of the NJ Society of CPAs Peer Review Executive Committee. He has been a Board member of several not for profit organizations.

Dean is a frequent presenter on auditing and quality assurance matter at AICPA conferences and state CPA societies.

Jeff Ellis

Jeff Ellis is a partner in the national office of Deloitte & Touche LLP (Deloitte), where he focuses on matters related to audit quality, including the implementation of new auditing standards.

From June 2007 – June 2009, Jeff served as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he participated in the SEC’s activities related to its oversight of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, monitored the development of auditing and attestation standards within the United States and internationally, and contributed to the development of the SEC’s rule proposals.

Prior to joining the SEC staff, Jeff served as a senior manager in the firm’s Global IFRS and Offerings Services group in New York, where he worked with foreign private issuers in their application of IFRS, US GAAP and the SEC’s rules and regulations.

Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the recipient of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants Gold Medal Award on the May 1999 CPA examination. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
