Linda Shore’s practice focuses on matters involving ERISA and employee benefits, as she represents financial services firms and corporate plan sponsors in all areas covered by ERISA regulation. She has extensive experience in structuring private investment funds, commingled trusts, insurance company separate accounts, REMICs, REITs and other investment products to be offered to ERISA and governmental plan investors. She also focuses on 401(k) plan investment structures.
Such clients as employers, third-party administrators and other plan service providers rely on Linda for sophisticated regulatory counseling on various issues that arise in the administration of employee benefit plans, including plan governance and compliance procedures. She regularly represents clients before the US Department of Labor and other federal agencies involved in regulating employee benefit plans, assisting them with government investigations, regulatory filings and requests for interpretive guidance and exemptive relief. In addition, she represents clients involved in ERISA litigation.
Linda has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Georgetown University Law Center graduate employee benefits program since 1993. She is a frequent writer and speaker on benefit, pension and ERISA issues. Reflecting her national visibility in these areas, she has been interviewed and quoted by, among other publications, The Wall Street Journal, CBS Marketwatch, Institutional Investor, Pensions and Investments, Investment News, IM Insight and MSNBC.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2005, Linda was an ERISA specialist at the US Department of Labor and a shareholder in other Washington firms.

Christina is a Director in our Global Employer Services practice in New England with more than 15 years of experience assisting clients with addressing the tax and regulatory issues affecting their compensation and benefit programs. She assists clients with compliance assessments ensuring that her clients have maximized the efficiency and effectiveness of their programs and serves on various engagements related to tax and regulatory compliance of employee benefit plans. She spends significant time assisting plan sponsors and service providers with reporting and disclosure compliance. Christina has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Westfield State College.
Jamie F. Gross

Jamie is a Senior Manager in the Global Employer Services tax practice of Deloitte Tax LLP. She has experience in employee benefits focusing on the design, drafting and implementation of qualified and nonqualified plans. Ms. Gross specializes in employee benefits regulatory compliance and health and welfare design and compliance. Ms. Gross assists clients with qualified plan design and implementation focusing on plan amendments and restatements for compliance with legislative changes such as GUST and EGTRRA. In addition, Ms. Gross also assists clients with ERISA reporting requirements including Form 5500s, Summary Annual Reports, and ERISA 204(h) notices. She also helps to assist clients in qualified plan submissions to the IRS for determination on qualified status of plans. Ms. Gross assists clients with health and welfare plan design, implementation, and compliance with a focus on HIPAA privacy regulations, DOL claims procedure regulations, and summary plan description regulations. Ms. Gross conducts HIPAA privacy seminars for clients focusing on workforce training in privacy regulations.
Ms. Gross received her J.D. from New England School of Law and her LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.

Philip Castrogiovanni is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice on matters pertaining to executive compensation, employee benefits and corporate governance.
Philip represents a variety of clients, including public and private companies and not-for-profit organizations, in all legal matters pertaining to the establishment and ongoing maintenance of executive compensation programs, qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and programs, and health and welfare arrangements. He provides retirement plan design and drafting guidance and assistance and assists with required and corrective filings with the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor.
