Pamela Fusco brings over 23 years of global Information Security and Risk Management expertise to her role as VP of Industry Solutions for Solutionary[re1] . Pamela’s prestigious background includes experience as a Chief Security Strategist and Chief Security Officer for Merck & Co., Inc., Digex Inc, MCI Security Solutions and Executive Vice President, Global Information Security at Citigroup, and Presidential White House Special Operations Staff. Additionally, Pamela serves as CFO of the ISSA International Board of Directors, is a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and Executive Advisory Board for the University of Advancing Technology.

Previous roles include founder of the Pharma industry’s SAFE Bio Pharma Inc., industry expert advisor for Securent, and intelligence analyst and information security lead for EDS where she initiated security operations for a worldwide government network security operations center. Prior to EDS, Pamela used her expertise as a cryptologist on supporting security proceedings for government, national intelligence, and SPECOPS (special operations).

Pamela is certified and accredited as a CISSP, CISM, CHS Level III, National Security Agency INFOSEC Assessment Methodology Auditor (AIM Auditor), National Cryptologic School Adjunct Faculty Certified Instructor (NSA/CSS/NCS). She holds an honorary Doctorate of Science in Technology, and is a facilitator and mentor for Carnegie Mellon University‘s Cylab and InfoWorld’s Monthly Technology Panel. Pamela is also a delegate for Policing Cyberspace International, Chinese Prosecutors Society, and the Presidential Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CCIP) International. A United States Navy veteran, Pamela has been bestowed with numerous honors and awards including a Presidential Citation.

Rich is a respected industry leader for domestic and global enterprise security and risk solutions. He has led multi-national teams in both the private and public sector, advising global organizations to effectively and efficiently balance risk, technology and data management decisions with data protection, regulatory compliance issues, privacy and security controls. Rich’s operational experience includes designing, assessing and delivering FCRA violation remediation strategy. He currently serves as the leader for the financial services Security & Privacy practice in the Southeast and Federal Government.

As former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at ChoicePoint Inc., Rich held enterprise-wide responsibility for the architecture, design, risk, business continuity and implementation of information and technology security. He also served as ChoicePoint’s official executive representative to internal and external customers, audit, regulatory and law enforcement on information security matters.

Rich’s security leadership roles include Naval Information Warfare Officer for the National Security Agency (NSA), Sr. Director Professional Services at Network Associates (now McAfee) and after 9/11, as Special Assistant to Deputy Director for the National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He is currently serving as the Commanding Officer of the United States Naval Reserve Navy Information Operations Command in Denver, Colorado. Prior assignments include tours within the Real Time Military Analysis Center, the Reserve Armed Forces Threat Center, the Center for Information Dominance and the Information Operations Technology Center (IOTC).

In 2005, Rich authored “Winning as a CISO”, a leadership sourcebook for security executives. He received the "Information Security Executive of the Year in Georgia" award in 2004 for his security and pioneering leadership. He is currently on the Board of Directors for NPower Charlotte Region, serves as an advisor for Congresswomen Myrick's Homeland Security Taskforce, and recently was selected as an advisor for the President’s Commission on Cybersecurity.

Nova J. Daly

Mr. Daly is an international investment and trade policy expert and has held senior leadership positions at the White House, the U.S. Departments of the Treasury and Commerce and the U.S. Senate. At Wiley Rein, he provides both high-level insight and deep operational expertise to help clients navigate the policy and regulatory environment surrounding cross-border business, especially with regard to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

As the former Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary for Investment Security and Policy from 2006-2009, Mr. Daly was responsible for managing Treasury's work as the chair of the CFIUS. In that capacity, he oversaw the reviews of over 350 transactions worth over $300 billion, negotiated the new CFIUS law, wrote and implemented the new CFIUS regulations and reformed the CFIUS process. He also created and chaired bilateral investment dialogues with China and Europe and led Treasury’s efforts to attract foreign investment and reduce international and domestic investment barriers. Prior to Treasury, Mr. Daly served at the National Security Council as the Director for International Trade where he handled multiple trade and investment policy issues, including cybersecurity matters. Mr. Daly was also a Senior Advisor for Trade Policy to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce and worked for the Senate Finance Committee on trade matters.

He holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of California, Irvine and a graduate degree in international law and organizations from American University.

At PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), Gibson’s focus is on helping organizations address serious issues involving the prevention, investigation, and mitigation of, and recovery from, economic espionage, insider fraud, complex money laundering, cyber attacks, and intellectual property theft. He will service a wide range of clients in matters of security breach investigation, data protection, and overall business risk management strategies.

Prior to PwC (07/2005-12/2009), Gibson was the Chief cyber Security Advisor, and senior corporate spokesperson, risk advisor, and point of contact in the United Kingdom for Microsoft Ltd on all matters related to the conduct of business online, information risk management, online data protection strategy, and prevention and mitigation of online attacks by miscreants, organized crime, and Nation-States. In addition, he was a trusted advisor to Members of Parliament and Government agency officials due to trust developed while a member of the FBI”s Office of Legal Attaché, American Embassy London.

As an FBI Assistant Legal Attaché (Diplomat), American Embassy London, pre/post 9/11 (2000-06/2005), Gibson was primarily responsible for all FBI cyber / online related investigations involving matters such as international cyber terrorism, blackmail, extortion, kidnapping, theft of intellectual property right and PII, and crimes against children investigations across international boundaries. Additionally, he was a trusted advisor to UK Members of Parliament (House of Commons / House of Lords), Palace at Westminster, senior government representatives, law enforcement and security services, and prosecuting agencies on all matters related to the cyber / online environment.

As a Lawyer in the U.S. and Solicitor in the U.K., Gibson was often called upon to explain to Embassy staff, UK and US law enforcement personnel, and others the differences in laws - U.S. v U.K. (European Union) - impacting extraterritorial investigations, use of MLATs and Letters Rogatory, search and seizure, fraud, extraditions, prevention and mitigation of criminal cyber attacks, and obtaining information in civil and criminal cyber inquiries. Gibson is a CISSP-Certified information Systems Security Professional and a Fellow, British Computer Society (FBCS), UK.
